The 1997 Kate Wolf Memorial Music Festival June 14 & 15, 1997 Fans' Feedback I loved the Kate Wolf Memorial Folk Festival in Sebastopol, California, hosted by that American treasure, Utah Phillips. When I went the featured artists included Dar Williams, Eric Bogle and his group, and Mary McCaslin, to name a few. Set in a vineyard, a beautiful place, it is small enough to avoid that sense of being hemmed in and overwhelmed. My brother, a gent I was dating, and I had a wonderful day there. We even had a chance to chat briefly with Utah, a treat not soon forgotten. -Jesiana 6/99 |
